This project posed complex structural and architectural challenges that demanded creative, forward-thinking solutions. The client’s brief required open-plan interiors with minimal columns, maximizing flexibility and adaptability for a wide range of future uses.The third floor featured very limited headroom, necessitating custom-engineered trusses to achieve the required spans without compromising structural safety or design intent. Meanwhile, the first-floor slab was designed for phased installation, allowing construction only when tenant requirements arose—optimizing materials, costs, and scheduling.From the outset, the project incorporated future expansion into the structural concept, with a full-length extension pre-planned to ensure seamless integration when additional space is needed.
